Feel the thrill of controlling an ocean going yacht, with the wind in your hair and billowing white sails powering you along. All under the watchful eye of an experienced Yachtmaster skipper.

Your experience starts with coffee, biscuits and a safety briefing, then your Yachtmaster skipper will introduce you to the basics of sailing and you’ll sail off into the waters of the Solent.

During both the full and half day experiences you will have plenty of opportunity to helm the yacht and practice your newfound sailing skills; or just sit back, relax and enjoy the experience.

	Venues: The Solent (South Coast).
	Duration: Full day - 10am to approximately 5pm with a 1 hour stop ashore for lunch (Not included). Half day – 10am to approximately 1pm.
	Availability: Selected Saturdays and Tuesdays during the season (April – October). Please note that availability is limited so ensure you allow plenty of time to book.
	Restrictions: Minimum age for this experience is 16 years, maximum weight is 18 stone. A full paying adult must accompany guests under 18.
	Weather: Please be aware that this experience is weather dependant. If the weather is not suitable for sailing on the day you book, this date will be rearranged.
	Dresscode: You will need non-marking soft soled shoes (trainers or deck shoes). Dress in several layers of clothing to allow for hot/cold weather. Waterproofs, harness and life jacket are provided

	Additional Information: It is not possible to accommodate spectators. Sailing requires a degree of physical exertion so participants must be reasonably fit.
