"This makes a great corporate day out for employee's or clients. Sailing on one of the worlds most famous stretches of water is a great experience, but sailing a racing yacht is something every body should do at least once in their lives. Your experience starts with a skipper?s briefing, this will cover all aspects of safety, which will make your experience both enjoyable and safe. The skipper and mate will show you over the race yacht that your experience takes place aboard. The yacht is a 40ft thoroughbred-racing machine with high technology Kevlar racing sails, high load ropes and fittings. This yacht has won major events such as Cowes Week and the famous Round the Island Race. Top quality instrumentation is provided for navigation and safety purposes. Once you are familiar with the layout and controls you will be issued with your foul weather gear and lifejackets.

Now is the time to leave the berth and take to the water. Each participant is given expert instruction on each position that a racing crew would take during a race, be it steering, trimming the sails or performing acrobatics on the foredeck, which never seems to stay still.

Participant Guidelines: This experience excludes persons with back, neck or knee injuries.

Dress Code: Foul weather kit and manually inflated lifejackets will be supplied for the duration of the experience. Participants are advised to bring warm clothing and flat-soled shoes.A towel and a change of clothes are recommended.

Availability: The experience is available on selected days between March and October.
