A typical night starts with a ghost walk of the location. This gives you a chance to get to know the history of the place and to get your bearings. This will be followed by a talk about the latest ghost hunting equipment, which will then be handed out for you to use throughout the night. Then the fun really begins as you split up into smaller groups and start your ghost hunt! As well as looking for ghosts and investigating the top haunted locations of the venue, various activities take place throughout the night. These will include automatic writing, glass moving, table tipping and séances.
A psychic workshop with mediums and paranormal investigators will also be running. This is a chance for you to get to know them and how they work (including how the mediums became mediums). There is usually a discussion about psychic protection and how to sense ghosts. Pendulums, dowsing rods and other psychic equipment are often used.
